EL PASO, Texas –
The parents of a 3-year-old child will be charged with capital murder in connection with her death.

The district attorney’s office told KFOX Yara Perez, 25, and her common law husband, Fransisco Castaneda, 25, will be charged with capital murder.

Jacqueline Gonzalez, 3, was found dead inside the trunk of her mother’s car Nov. 20. Her autopsy revealed she died because of “internal bleeding due to blunt force injury to the abdomen.”

Perez and Castaneda will be in court Tuesday before a grand jury.
