HOUSTON - Police and Child Protective Services are trying to determine how an 11-month-old boy was seriously injured in northeast Houston.
The Houston Police Department received a 911 call at approximately 6 p.m. Thursday from a neighbor who reported a baby being injured.
After officers arrived to a house on Laura Koppe Road near North Wayside Drive, they found the child injured and had him taken to Texas Children's Hospital where surgery was performed on him.
Homicide investigators say that police have never been called to the house, where four other children also live.
