Senate Bill 1, Article II, Rider 30, of the 79th Texas Legislature requires the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to submit Child Protective Services (CPS) Reform Expenditure Reports to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The reports cover appropriations, funding allocations, operating budgets and adjustments, year-to-date and projected expenditures, as well current and projected staffing levels.
